The Polytechnic University of Catalonia, at which our director Iker Alzola teaches, ranks in the “top 25” architecture schools in the world, according to the QS World University Ranking by Subject (WUR) – in which it moves up eight positions in relation to last year’s edition and is currently ranked 21st in the world, consolidating itself as a leader in Spain. Among the EU countries in the ranking, UPC occupies 4th position.
The QS World University Rankings by Subject 2020, edited by QS Quacqarelli Symonds, analyses four indicators: two focused on research (citations per document and H-Index) and two based on the institution’s reputation, both among academics from other institutions, and from the perspective of employers.
